Jamie is originally from upstate New York and has a background in engineering, sales, and operations. Prior to joining ROOST™, Jamie served as Chief Operating Officer at a real estate business development company, as well as Managing Director of a sales team with eXp Realty in NY. Additionally, as a REALTOR®, Jamie helped clients buy and sell residential properties.
Prior to starting his career in real estate, Jamie was a digital marketing consultant, and also developed 3 successful direct sales businesses where he sold telecommunications and energy services, and recruited, trained, and mentored thousands of independent distributors to do likewise. Jamie began his career as a mechanical engineer with General Motors in Research & Development where he developed hydrogen fuel cell systems. Jamie holds a Master of Engineering degree from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University.
Personally, Jamie enjoys spending time with his family, boating, traveling, playing drums, and anything pertaining to cars. He and Jennifer live in Troutman, North Carolina, and love the Lake Norman area!

Kim Butler moved to North Carolina from Long Island New York and absolutely loves living here! Falling in love not only with the area but also the level of service she received during her own real estate experience, Kim joined ROOST Real Estate as a Real Estate Buyer Specialist after first working with ROOST as a client. She was first introduce to the warm hospitality of the TarHeel State when exhibiting her home accessories company at the High Point Furniture Market. Over the years, Kim made many lasting friendships here and finally decided to make NC her home.
Kim understands that not only prioritizing her clients wants and needs, but also taking the time to understand who they are as a person ensures a positive and rewarding home search experience. Kim and her husband, Bob, reside in Mooresville. They have 2 grown children, Courtney and Jack. Her favorite pastimes are being out on the lake and rooting for her favorite sports teams, the NY Jets and Carolina TarHeels.

Living in Iredell County her whole life, Shannon has an extensive knowledge of the Lake Norman area. Prior to her career in real estate, she worked for the Iredell-Statesville school system for 14 years, both in and out of the classroom. Working with children has contributed to both her compassion and organizational skills. Shannon currently lives in Troutman with her husband, three sons, and their Mini Goldendoodle. Jennifer is originally from upstate New York and has a 20 year background in social work, with 12 years in adoption services. She holds a Master of Social Work degree from Roberts Wesleyan College, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Lee University. Jennifer obtained her real estate license in NY, and is also licensed in NC. One of Jennifer's greatest strengths is working with people, so her time is spent focusing on Client Services at ROOST™, as well as assisting Jamie in other areas as needed.
Personally, Jennifer enjoys reading, shopping, outdoor activities, and serving at church. She has a sweet spot for ice-cream too! Jennifer and Jamie live in Troutman, NC and love the Lake Norman area!
